I am a recently retired Special Ed. Teacher who specializes in Reading and Writing, especially for deaf or dyslexic students. I have tutored throughout my public and private school career, usually working with former students. Since I am certified to teach using the Wilson Reading Program, I often use these materials to teach phonics skills. I also focus on comprehension skills.

I have always treasured working with children. I found my interest when I started babysitting at age 11. I quickly found that my time spent having fun and entertaining children was something I truly enjoyed. As a educator, I understand that all students learn differently.
