Anatomy is one of my top subjects! I have several certificaiton and have taken many required training seminars to be certified as a personal trainer that mandate you know anatomy at an almost expert level Furthermore, I tutored in anatomy and physiology during the last two years of my college.

Learning can be hard. Memorization can be hard. Knowing how to determine the proper equation to use in a chemistry or math equation can be hard. What I focus on with my students is not simply telling them the information and how they should go about finding the right answer but, more importantly, why the answer they are choosing is correct. What that does is to force them to learn the actual skill and when to use a given equation or what a sign or symbol indicates in terms of the type of problem they are trying to solve. By doing this, I find, the student is able to get to the core of not simply stuffing equations, grammar terms, or scientific terminology in their heads and then unloading them on the test. I love teaching. I earned my BA before I was old enough to vote. While my classmates were in his/her senior year, I was teaching. Eventually I earned my M.Ed. in Reading, then started School Administration and Adult Education. In all these fields I find similar necessary skills: patience, co-operation among staff and colleagues, knowledge of subject matter, communication with the community and parents and a well defined curriculum. Moreover, I am a published author and a former writer with St. Louis Globe Democrat - Suburban Journals. As a favor to my students, I often evaluate papers for submission. From the moment I began French in high school, it became a passion for me. I took 4 years of courses in 3 years' time, and tested into 4th semester level (highest possible) French upon entering college. I knew all along I wanted to be a teacher, thus becoming a French teacher was perfect logic. I earned my BS in Ed, and having attended a liberal arts college, making cross-curriculum oriented lessons was easy with the diverse studies I had done. While attending college, I worked as a peer-tutor in a program designed to help struggling students. During my first teaching job, I tutored students after school, both at school (part of a state-funded program) and as a home-bound teacher.
