My comments on tutoring Trumpet : Music studio offering clarinet, saxophone, flute, trumpet, and recorder lessons taught by the Principal Clarinetist of the Livingston Symphony Orchestra.

For the past twenty years, Dimitry has been teaching students of all ages to play the clarinet, saxophone, flute, trumpet, and recorder. Students will learn proper techniques, posture, breathing, phrasing, articulation, tone, rhythm, sight reading, solfeggio, music theory, and music history. They will also learn to play solos (with and without accompaniment), as well as duets (along with the instructor). Private lessons are customized to meet each student's goals, such as preparation for regional and state band auditions, concerts, and other music competitions.

Trumpet is one of my top subjects! The trumpet is a member of the brass instrument family. It has 3 valves and is a transposing instrument. Most trumpets are in the key of B flat which means a C played on the trumpet sounds like a D played on the piano. It reads treble clef and has an instrument range from F sharp below middle C to C two octaves above middle C. Skilled trumpet players can play even higher notes.

I am from Somerset, NJ, and I started playing piano when I was in middle school. For 13 years, I've continued to play and pursue my career in music education. I've taught children as young as four years old to adult students as well. For adults, it's never too late to learn a new skill.  It has been my passion and goal in life to share with others the joy that I got from learning music. Being an educator, the greatest success is knowing that you've made a positive difference in a child's life.

A Little Bit About Me...

I believe in a student involvement proactive approach where real life samples are implemented as part of the learning process. To teach is to have people actually take lessons learned and both interact and perform the task that will required so they can internalize the lessons learned.
As an graduate of DeVry Technical Institute and also a Faculty Assistant while attending DeVry. I possess an ability to teach others basic and intermediate math skills. While I attended Fairleigh Dickinson University, I also taught additional math and Computer Programming on a one on one basis. My teaching skills have also carried on to doing various types of Sales and Marketing training both as a mentor and as part of my day to day responsibilities. This was something I particularly implemented professionally at Atlantic Business Products, PC Marketing and COMP USA Business Services.
