All doubts and questions are answered using daily, commonplace examples that help the student comprehend a biological concept and not just memorize it for a test. During and at the end of each session, I use indirect and direct questioning to check the level of comprehension acquired and build on it. I check other skills such as reading and writing which may be interfering with the student's performance. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always had a deep appreciation for knowledge and education. I hold a BS in Marine Science (Oceanography), through which I took many high level science and math courses. I recently completed an MS in Environmental Science and Policy from the University of South Florida, where I formulated and conducted my own research project. A Little Bit About Me...

As a recent college graduate with my BA in elementary education I am highly motivated to provide learner centered tools to engage and motivate students. I have been able to incorporate these principles into my own classroom as a long term substitute in a 6th grade Language Arts and History class.
