I enjoy working with students and watching their growth and development academically. My approach to each student is different because I understand each will need a different approach. Initially with each student I identify his or her strengths and weaknesses with the material. While building on their strengths, I attempt to change their perspective towards the course material that seems difficult. For example, if a student is struggling with multiplication but has superior addition skills, I will use addition to help them understand multiplication.

A Little Bit About Me...

Since children do have different learning styles, I have found that some of your beginning stages with them is figuring out how to effectively work with a student. After that discovery incorporating these learning styles in the lessons will aid in having successful learning experiences. This is my first goal as I begin to plan individual or small group lessons.
