Biology is one of my top subjects! I received my BS in Biological Sciences with a minor in Chemistry with honors in 2010. As an undergraduate I served as the supplemental instructor leading peer reviewed tutor sessions for a Cellular and Molecular Biology, Genetics and Evolution class as well as an Organism and Ecological Biology class. Due to my postive reinforcement and support, I won awards as a Master SI leader (College Reading and Learning Association) as well as University awards for most attendees, and creative learning techniques. I also was nominated to the Beta-Beta-Beta National Biology Honor Society, and later awarded an honorary member due to my work as the President for 2009/2010.

I have tutored one-on-one as well as to large groups. My focus is on college level science classes. I feel that bringing creative and unique methods to learning helps student overcome their dispassion or fear. My sessions aim to be positive and motivating. Although I have won numerous awards for my creativity, and presentation methods, the greatest reward have been the smiling faces of my students after the course when they brag about their final grades. A Little Bit About Me...

I had no exact teaching method. However, I was able to answer simple questions and allowed the students to work on their problems by discovering some of the ideas themselves.
I have done assistant teaching for my professors at Concord University.
