My teaching style is flexible depending upon the needs of my student(s). Some students have disabilities that make drilling or repetition styles of teaching and tutoring difficult and tiresome, while other thrive on it. Others need hands on learning opportunities and problems to work through on their own. Regardless of the student’s need, I am a tenacious teacher. I like to use an interactive teaching style in which there is lots of discussion between teacher and student. This provides immediate feedback on the student's understanding, enabling me to adapt the teaching session to provide the most benefit. I love biology and teach with enthusiasm.
