As a working professional, I was driven later in life to get a degree that was started right after high school. I initially had 90 course hours towards a Social Work degree, and when I returned changed it to business. I have a BS in Business Management, and I only have one class left to get my Masters(MBA). This has allowed me to have a vast bit of working experience in math and accounting. I have exceptional grammatic skills, due to weekly submitted papers in each class. Since graduating from Missouri State in the fall of 2009 with my Bachelor's Degree in Spanish education I have been substituting with Sparta schools and Republic schools. I have also been tutoring a student in Spanish. I completed my student teaching in the fall of 2009 with Ozark High School and Springfield Catholic School. Before then I spent several years working with kids at book festivals and in Mexico through Second Baptist Church. I also tutored special needs children at Ozark North Elementary during my high school years. I have been working with elementary children for 19 years. I have expericence as a Title 1 Teacher Assistant, Special Education aide, Substitute teacher and Sunday school teacher. I have tutored in reading and math. I am currently attending Ashford University to complete my Early Childhood degree in 2012. I will then continue to get my degree in Special Education.
I love working with children and feel that is my God given talent. I believe that all children can and will learn with the proper time given to them. All children learn differently. As a teacher you have to work on the best way to teach that child. I feel that tutoring you have the full attention of the child. By working one on one the child will benefit greatly.
