As a college graduate, I have strived for academic excellence. I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics with Financial Certification. During my college journey, I gained useful knowledge in Mathematics, History and English. While my exposure includes Level 3 Calculus and Statistics, my expertise is in College Algebra. Over the last five years, I have tutored students, as well as adults, in Algebra, English and Business.
I enjoy helping people, children and adults. I know that everyone can learn with the proper teaching method. My tutoring technique incorporates various learning styles. I use visual aids, such as flash cards and color codes, to help my students understand the concepts. More About This Tutor...

I first started to study music when I was 11 years old. I grew a love for the clarinet and played for many years in middle school and high school. In college, I majored in clarinet and also studied all wind/percussion instruments as well as piano. I obtained my BA instrumental teaching degree (K-12) through Western Carolina University in June of 2003. Through the years, I have had the privilage and pleasure of teaching band in a classroom setting, marching band, and private lessons.
The reason I became a teacher was to transfer my love of music to my students and also to see the joy of their successes. There is nothing like seeing the smile of success on a students face. I care greatly for all students that I have taught and will teach.
