While attending the University of Minnesota, I deepened my relationship with the visual arts. I extensively studied two-dimensional art in the areas of Sumi ink painting, watercolor, charcoal drawing, oil and powder pastel rendering, graphite sketching and printmaking; focusing on intaglio, aluminum and stone lithography. Though I have little experience teaching or tutoring in visual art, I do have teaching experience in dance, skin-care and color cosmetics. My past teaching experience is directly applicable to the teaching of studio art and will be an asset when teaching young students. My passion for the arts drives everything I do, from education to the practice of art.
