I've never really tutored before outside of helping my classmates, but even still I excel when it comes to teaching others tactics for reading and writing. I am extremely patient and studious when it comes to helping others learn, especially children. I graduated a year earlier than I should have due to skipping a grade because of my reading and writing skills. My comments on tutoring Reading : Reading is one of the core receptive language skills. I teach my students various techniques how to become better at reading. So far I have only tutored one student for a year or so. However, I am very knowledgeable in these subjects and hope to make the best of your child's tutoring experience. And despite my inexperience, I am more than capable of tutoring. I also am willing to respect the established rules and wishes that the student's caretakers have placed upon us meeting.
I use note-cards and mnemonics. I'm also fond of repetition (which will allow the student to obviously retain the information) and often do reviews at the end of a session to further examine what said student is struggling with.
