I graduated from Oregon State University this year with double Honors BS degrees in Earth Science (with a Climatology focus) and Environmental Economics & Politics. My comments on tutoring Reading Comprehension : I have great materials to help children understand and engage in conversations about their reading.

For four years I have worked as a Reading Specialist Assistant. I helped Kindergarten through fourth grade students learn to read. K-1st, I helped these students achieve the basic foundation of letter sounds to create new words. We also worked on fluency, expression and gaining reading speed. 2nd-4th, I helped these students comprehend the reading material and converse about various reading topics to engage their interest.
