A Little Bit About Me...

I have always emphasized the immeasurable distinction between education and schooling. Although the two are not necessarily mutually exclusive, in our era they are more and more. I strive to draw a student into a fascination with learning. If that occurs, then education is a fait accompli.
I taught High School US, World and European history to grades 10 - 12. I taught AP European History and Government. I taught Geography, Civics, and Psychology for 5 years. I enjoy working with children, however, I don't feel I have one teaching style. I like to be able to adapt to how the children learn the best. My favorite teaching style is hands on activities such as experiments and crafts. I take pride in my creativity.
