My comments on tutoring Political Science : I have vast knowledge of the political system.

I try to engage my student, to tease the learning out of him or her. I have learned to explain, to give the information then to step back, allowing my student to think through to the conclusion. This involves silence sometimes, and the student talking more while I talk less, something not so easy for a teacher of Italian descent. Experiences has shown, however, that it often works.

A Little Bit About Me...

Experience in the study of British and American Literature, also have made a study of History in America and Britain as well during undergraduate coursework. During my Master's I studied British Literature and was a teaching assistant. During that time I spent two years teaching composition and argumentation at Bowling Green State University to cover college level essay writing which required both classroom and individual tutoring outside of class. Subjects for that course included a wide array of topics with a focus more on structure and the strength of the student's argument than the content or theme of the paper.
