I believe in relationships first. If a teacher knows her/his students, she/he can usually find what motivates them and use that to gain their trust and interest. Having taught for as long as I have, I know of many different ways to reach students. A positive attitude and an easy going personality go a long way, and I am known for both.
I began my teaching career in South San Antonio, teaching at both the elementary level (K and 3) and at the middle school (6-8).
