Based on my inherent interest in the natural sciences, I decided early on to pursue a BS in Biology at Stony Brook University. While attending, my academic excellence in Chemistry allowed me to work as a Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry as well as Organic Chemistry courses. Following graduation, I opted to enroll in the graduate program in Biomedical Engineering at Cornell University, thereby combining my knowledge of Biology with my interest in Engineering. A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is a combination of serious, in-depth theory and practical examples to demonstrate such theories, all with a hint of humor, followed by significant practice of the newly learned skills. I've been "teaching" people all of my business career. I always start with the underlying theory and immediately segue into a practical example of how the principles work. I think students want to learn, but need the information presented in a way that makes learning interesting, not boring. I have that ability.
