Helping students to Become Life Long Learners

I enjoy working with students and am comfortable to go at their own pace. I encourage students and help them to succeed. I also enjoy making up lesson plans or practice work so that students can practice their new skills. I love to learn new things and try to pass on my enthusiasm for learning to my students as well. My comments on tutoring Elementary Vocabulary : I have student teaching experience in the elementary school setting.

My teaching style incorporates all learning styles, because I am a firm believer that we all learn differently. I am a very patient and passionate teacher. Being excited about the subject is key to being a successful teacher. However, I expect my students to be motivated and to give 100 percent effort to their studies.

Essential learning done right!

In addition to my education, I have previous experience tutoring students in elementary school up to college students. I am skilled in working with kids with ADHD as well as other behavioral disorders, such as DBD and ODD. I have been working in the behavioral health field for 2 years and can apply knowledge and experience to help kids in a unique way to improve academic success. By helping kids in a one-on-one setting I can attend to their specific needs and help them build skills to make the independent learners in the classroom by overcoming personal obstacles and barriers.
