After receiving my bachelor's degree, I went to school part time to work on my Master's degree while subbing in area schools. I accepted a position as a teaching assistant, and two long term positions. I also tutored a junior high school student in all subjects.

Before having children I worked as an teacher's aide at the local pre-school, working with 3-5 year-olds. After that I became a teacher's aid for the local middle school, working with children that were not allowed to go to regular classes due to their behavior. My main job was to show them how to write essays, reports, papers, etc. I also worked with their families as well and I loved it.

In having a bachelors degree in Psychology, I have been fortunate enough to have worked at various places, all in which have dealt with constant interaction with people. I have had much success with my style of tutuoring, and take much pride and personal satisfaction as a result. I listen carefully to how children approach a problem, and follow their through process in determining a solution.
