I have a degree from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in Chemistry and would like to help individuals in math and chemistry to further their education. SDSM&T has a very tough curriculum in math, physics, and chemistry. With my real world experience and education from the mines I have a very good understanding of how to apply real world situations to everyday problems. I am very creative and can communicate on the learning level of the individual. Along with tutoring college level students, I also worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Rapid City as a tutor to elementary level students. Working with children is a passion of mine, and I am patient and willing to use different teaching techniques to ensure that the student is comfortable with the material. Sometimes all a student needs is a new view on the material, and I'm willing to provide that for them.
I'm currently a senior at the University of South Dakota. I'm finishing my Chemistry/Spanish double major via online classes in Rapid City, SD. I've tutored all levels of Spanish and received credit for doing so, and am now student teaching at Stevens High School in their Spanish Department.
