I have taught for 35 years--15 years in elementary,15 years math in secondary, and 5 years instructional specialist and math curriculum. People learn at different levels, and what works for one does not always work for another; therefore,finding the way for each individual student is the key. I have also found that most people learn a task by 'hands on' learning, not listening to how it should be done.
