I have always excelled in the realm of Language Arts and Music. I received my Bachelor's degree from Full Sail University and graduated with a GPA of 3.9, as well. I have 3 years of combined tutoring experience in a variety of subjects, but primarily in the field of Language Arts. I have tutored with New Hanover County Schools for several years, as well. I work with a variety of age groups ranging from the elementary to high school age level.
I prefer to focus on the student's strengths while growing them in their weaknesses. I fully believe every individual has the ability to succeed with hard-work and dedication. A Little Bit About Me...

My favorite part about teaching is the moment that something "clicks" within a child's mind. I am a problem solver naturally so I try to lead children down a path of discovery instead of just teaching the answer. I believe this helps children gain an understanding of how things work or why they are a certain way so that they are able to apply these same processes to other problems.
I have earned two bachelor degrees, BS in Business Administration with a concentration in International Business and BA in Spanish. I have 10 years of professional experience involving customer service, Spanish translation, tutoring, and training. As an ex-patriate, I was afforded the opportunity to learn Spanish fluently and have witnessed first hand its importance in business and life today. I also have elementary age children that I assist in the everyday learning processes.
