I am a strong believer that children all learn differently. I consider myself a visual learner, but try to teach to cater all different learning styles. I believe children learn best when able to relate to the material in some way. I try my best to discover the individual child's learning style and personal interests early on and then adjust my approach accordingly. It is then that the student becomes confident in learning, which promotes success. I allow students to work at their own pace and, if possible, provide them with more than one solution to the problem they are trying to solve, whether it be visual, mathematical or basic study skills.
