I use word games, flash cards and drill. I love working with the little ones as they are enthusiastic and show the most progress. Some youngsters need more visual stimulation. Games are a great motivator, as the children are learning without feeling that they are doing school work.
I taught first and third grade for 6 years at the Saw Mill Rd. elementary school in North Bellmore, NY.
