Composition is one of my top subjects! I taught all the English courses listed at 2 colleges and previously at two private high schools. My student evaluations were excellent. I am now retired but would like to help some ambitious older student who wants to catch up with their education. I also worked extensively with learning disabled students in a college tutoring center.

I have worked with teenagers, young adults and older students returning to college. I work especially well with students who have a lack of confidence about their academic or intellectual abilities. My experiences during and after college have been crucial to realizing my skill and joy in tutoring and teaching. I was fortunate enough to attend a small, liberal arts college which allowed me to constantly experience small group learning environments.
