I have professionally tutored Math and English as an employee of Ohio University, in a private junior-high and high-school academy, and on an individual basis. I taught a semester of Elementary French at Ohio University in Athens. I am always willing to tutor any subject, but my greatest academic strength lie in language learning. A large part of earning my B.A. in Business Management consisted of writing reports and papers for everything from English to Market Research. In order to be successful in the business or psychology world, one has to have great writing and verbal skills to talk to clients and write up reports of findings. I have had experience with research for and compilation of reports for school and businesses in the area. I have also tutored numerous students from 5th grade to college juniors in math, English, statistics, and geography.

I have always felt strongly drawn to education, particularly in the field of literacy. I grew up as a child who loved to read, and I love to pass that on to others. After receiving my degree in English Literature, I became a teacher's aide at a small Montessori school in Springfield, Ohio. I taught my students reading for concepts and spelling in a small group setting, never more than four at a time. Occasionally, I gave one on one sessions, and had book clubs twice weekly for the students.
