I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I love being able to help students feel comfortable with the material they are studying. I have tutored numerous times throughout college, and would like to get back into tutoring students because I find it to be rewarding. As a student who went from living in Germany and being taught that there are many ways of getting the right answer, to moving to America where everything is taught in one way, I have learned to incorporate my tutoring skills to the need of each individual student. I try to figure out what works best for every individual and help them focus on their strength and improve their weaknesses.
My teaching style depends on the student. I am comfortable with trying different study methods in order to figure out why my student is having trouble with a particular subject.

I have experience teaching and assisting children in Elementary School. I also have a BS degree in Biology and would love to tutor. I had a 3.0 GPA Undergraduate. I have worked in laboratories for the preious four years using my Biology degree in the Biomedical Field. I also worked as a Sitter in a hospital for a short time where I cared for disabled patients. My comments on tutoring Biology : Have taught Living Environment at the High School level.

I was employed by the Lakeland Central School District as a substitute Teacher Aide and later in a full time capacity. I worked for the OASIS Program and later at the Alternative High School. A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored high school students who are college bound during my undergraduate years at William Paterson University of New Jersey. I also tutored my fellow undergraduates. I then pursued a doctorate and was active in many peer study groups where were tutored each other in neuroscience and organic chemistry.
