I began my teaching career after 10 years in another field. I have a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and Literature and a Master’s degree in Education. I have 5 years of teaching experience both at the high school and community college level. As an English teacher, I have extensive experience with all aspects of Language Arts, including grammar, research, and writing skills.
My teaching style follows my core belief – that all students can learn. I utilize a variety of teaching styles and techniques to achieve the best possible results with each student. I have been a pastoral minister for 25 years, have taught refugees English as a Second Language, have taught community college courses as an adjunct instructor, have taught innumerable courses within the congregations I have served, including an after school tutoring program for young children.
