Having taught both music and French in a variety of different settings, my teaching style has changed and improved over the years. Today, my teaching is very hands-on and individualized. I strive to make the lessons or tutoring relevant and understandable for each student and give students as many opportunities to participate in their learning as possible, rather than lecturing. I also love to teach using games and creative approaches. For example, when teaching a music theory course to high school students, I designed a card game to help teach the kids how to build scales. A Little Bit About Me...

I know that students can work and achieve if the right kind of motivation is given. Each child has their own learning style and interest which needs to be taken into consideration when working with thenm and then to be taught in that mode and style. My goal for the student is to learn through motivation when the interest is used in the lessons which will then enable the student to relate the lesson to their world.
