After I transferred to CSU Stanislaus, I worked both at the tutoring center and for a state program that placed me in one of the local high schools to work with groups of seniors with low math scores in order to help improve their SAT scores. After graduation, I was hired as a substitute teacher. However, the classroom setting was not as enjoyable as tutoring. Shortly afterwards, I moved to NYC and while there took several classes in business.
