I always wanted to become a math teacher, but in order to become one in a communist regime; you had to be a member in the Romanian Communist Party. So, I obtained a BS in Mechanical Engineer (172 credit hours). I was working as a designer in Romania and had in parallel a private math and physics tutoring business. I left Russia in 1993 when I was a Full Professor in the Department of Mathematics of the Moscow Inst. of Chemical Engng Industry, Russia.
