I have been immersed the field of interpreting since 2008. Having graduated out of Bloomsburg University in 2012, over the last two years I have been professionally interpreting in three states and in various fields. Teaching and School Counseling Services In One Place!

My style of education is to teach by modeling. Students need to see things in a step-by-step format with instructions, followed by an immediate example. I also provide sample argumentative essays for students who learn by seeing a complete model. My counseling style is to work with students, first by building a rapport and then using that as the foundation to get a feel for their college/career interests. I then look at their grades to help them build a custom transitional plan into early adulthood.

I have recently retired after 30+ years as an elementary special and regular education teacher. For the past 15 years I have also worked as a tutor for the city of White Plains. I have done extensive private tutoring for the past 20 years. For 17 years I worked as an elementary special education classroom teacher at New York Hospital in an out-patient day treatment program. Have compiled multiple Power Points over the years which explain concepts in simple terms and which have illustrations of concepts which will not be found in nursing textbooks.
