A Little Bit About Me...

I have three sons and have coached students in various sporting activities so I'm no stranger with working with kids. As I stated above though I don't have any professional experience and therefore it would be difficult to describe a teaching style. A Little Bit About Me...

After graduating from college with a BA, I began working for an environmental restoration and public education program. We led large volunteer groups sometime of more than 100 people, in local park and forest restoration event, and also led youth groups on 10 day restoration and hiking trips in the national forest. After this I worked for a program that places tutors in schools that are in need, where i tutored K-5 students in reading, led a ESL class of about 10 students, and worked as a teachers assistant in the class room. I have spent the last several years at a monastery where I have had experience mentoring and working with the public in meditation programs.
