I have 10+ years of experience in tutoring math to high school and college students as well as adults returning to school after a lapse in their schooling and also adults returning to school to get their GED. I have been employed the last 2 years by Wyzant.com tutoring students in Algebra I and Algebra II as well as Geometry. I have experience in working both public high school students as well as students who have been home schooled. I have also worked with students who have learning disorders such as ADD and ADHD as well as adults with PTSD and dyslexia. Being an undergraduate at WPI and haven taken several Advanced Placement classes in areas outside of math and science, I consider myself a very well rounded student. I was also strongly considered for a MASH program here at the University, or "Math and Science Help", as a Section Leader/Tutor. Going through a lower-middle class urban high school, I was known as that "smart kid" and would often led study groups outside of class to prepare for tests.
