I do very well in tutoring math, especially cal, because I struggled with the subject at first, it didn't come natural, and thus I am able to break it down into understandable levels. Through my teaching style I emphasize hands-on learning by using manipulatives. I also use modeling and repetition. I believe the best way to learn something is to practice doing it yourself over and over again using various methods. Practice makes permanent! A Little Bit About Me...

My teaching style is one that I obtained from two of my favorite college teachers whom I wished all others would duplicate themselves after. When I teach, I introduce myself and let others introduce themselves. I project an image of someone who is willing and able to assist and teach...someone who really does care (of which I have been told many times by former students). I let students know that if they have a question about anything, to please ask me. I am a detailed person and so I like to give detailed steps in achieving a desired outcome. As an Graduate of Applied Science of Industrial Instrumentation. I was extremely driven to accomplish a long sought after goal of completing college while shift working and raising a family of four sons all on my own. I graduated Phi Theta Kappa, National Dean's List, and was offered internship in three different countries. China, Europe and Austrila.
