I graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Deaf Education. I loved working with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, but it was extremely hard finding a job doing that in my area. Due to that fact, I started tutoring as many kids from the local schools as much as possible and I loved doing it. That also motivated me to work on adding endorsements to my teaching license so that I can teach regular education as well. I am a very patient person, and patience is always a necessity when you are teaching a child and helping him/her to understand anything. I am the oldest of four children and I have always had to help them with homework growing up so I know ways to keep their attention on their studies. A Little Bit About Me...

I have had the opportunity to serve students of many ages, academic levels, and backgrounds. Over the past four years I’ve enjoyed teaching in the Petal School District on the high school level.
