My comments on tutoring Painting : I have taken 13 years of private art class, going through painting, drawing, sketching, sculpting. Oils, Acrylics, and Watercolors. (Oils and Acrylics are preferred).

I am a Sophomore attending Sonoma State to receive my Teaching Credential and Bachelors in Liberal Arts within four years. I have over seven years experience teaching within a classroom, and teaching students one on one. I really love to teach and I not only can teach mostly everything in an elementary school, and some subjects in middle school and high school, but I also have a lot of experience in extracurriculars. My comments on tutoring Painting : As an elementary, high school and college Studio Art teacher, I teach units on painting in a variety of media as is age-appropriate. I personally work in water, tempera, acrylic, oil and beyond.

Painting is one of my top subjects! I've been painting for 16+ years

I have worked in art and graphic design professionally for the past 6 years, however I have been freelancing and creating art for myself since 1998. I previously worked for the Hayward Area Historical Society, which included assisting in design for exhibits as well as some teaching to visiting school groups. I have also been asked to teach small groups of children about art, or help with general homework on numerous occasions.
I work best one-on-one or in small groups, I can adjust my style to what a person needs after speaking with them for a while and understanding how they learn. I've found the best way to teach someone a new way of looking at something is to understand how they currently perceive it.
