My teaching style is a combination of TPR (Total Physical Response), Socratic and Discovery. I believe that involving the student's intellect and creativity is very valuable in arriving at their understanding of the material.
I have taught Math, English, Science and other core courses in California public and private schools for 28 years. Learning should be both meaningful and fun. I have work experience with children of all ages and mental capacities. I worked at a facility called St. Mary's Home for Disabled Children, as a recreation therapist. While there, I worked with special needs children and designed fun/educational programs for them.
