I have taught ESL for 17 years to children and adults from all over the world. I have a strong command of language arts and am experienced at teaching literacy, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, essay writing, phonics, pronunciation, etc. I coordinate the after school enrichment program and annual play at Earl LeGette Elementary School. Having finished a financial planning course, I have also recently brushed up on my math skills. For the past 10 years, I have worked in my community, helping to better the lives of children. At age 15, I began mentoring young girls and volunteering for a non-profit organization, counseling developmentally delayed children and at-risk youth. I later went on to become a Behavioral Therapist, educating children with autism. My love for children (and passion for education) was the determining factor in the course of my college career. I attained a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Utah in 2008 (graduating with a cumulative GPA of 3.8).
