My approach to tutoring is to work with the students to learn how to apply new concepts and information to problem solving. Chemistry is a science where this kind of concept building is key to progressing from one concept to the next. I don't regurgitate facts and figures. Soon after graduating with a BS Chemistry in 2009, I worked part time as aresearch assistant, responsible studies on cyanide speciation in gold mine waste waters and freshman general chemistry.
