I have a very diverse background and I have many years of experience teaching in different subjects. I was an English teacher for one year in Korea, teaching children at a public school. I have taught fine art at a private school in Salinas. I have also been teaching martial arts and self-defense for over 10 years. I have worked with children as young as 4, to adults in their senior years. I hold a bachelor's degree in Business Marketing from San Jose State and I graduated with honors.
I enjoy working with students of all ages. As a teacher, there is nothing greater than to see my students succeed. Teaching can be a most wonderful adventure. I believe every child can learn. At times students or overwhelming with new concepts, and they need to be encouraged, and praise until they can accomplish the task at hand. I enjoy seeing the appearence of awareness on a childs face, when they have accomplished a goal, or solved a problem they had difficulty solving.
