I am a visual / tactile learner. I have 16 years experience in Elementary Education. I received my bachelors degree from South Carolina State University in 1995. I received my masters degree from Walden University in 2007. I was chosen as Teacher of the Year in 2008-2009. I have experience in grades 1,2, and 3. I also taught an adult education math class during the summer of 1996 and worked with various youth groups during summer school and through the JTPA Program.

I have always been a math person, even as a little kid. I am currently attending Francis Marion University and double majoring in Mathematics and Finance. In the spring of 2014 I will be taking Calculus III and Multivariable Calculus. I tutor my friends and they love the way I teach compared to their professors or instructors. If I do not initially know how to solve a problem, it will take me a few minutes to learn it, provided that there are notes available. I have also been into music for the past 9 years. I know how to play the piano and any percussion instrument.
