I completed my Bachelor's degree in 2001. I then decided to pursue my Master's in 2006 to get my Master's in Biology, while taking my courses I had to also take extra courses to refresh my previous biology classes. Some of which includes Human Anatomy, Physics, Neuroscience, and Chemical Analysis. I have had experience tutoring before but at the time I was tutoring a peer of mine in high school. My strongest suit in my teaching style is probably the many ways that I would approach teaching a certain principle. If the student does not understand one way to approach a problem, I try to best to help them understand and learn another way. I feel like since everyone learns differently, a tutor should approach a problem from as many angles as possible. My teaching style is also very patient. I suppose the saying "give a man a fish, feed him for a day, teach a man how to fish, feed him for a lifetime" would apply to my style.
