I have a BS in business and can tutor in any business related fields. In addition, my original college major was physics. I can and have taught physics, math, (up to differential equations) and physical sciences. I have also been an ameteur astronomer for 40 years and can teach courses in this dicipline. I am currently employed as an airline pilot and have earned all teaching certificates from the FAA. My approach to teaching is more of a "why" approach. It is more important for students to know why something is or works rather than just how. This approach works well for middle and high school students. I have worked as a tutor in my college's writing center and as a teaching assistant in major course requirements. I will graduate at the end of this month with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in English, having completed more than 90 credit hours in literature studies and 18 credit hours of creative writing.
