A Little Bit About Me...

As a teacher at Thomasville High School, I instructed students in World History. I also assisted with tutorial for student struggling in various social studies subjects (i.e. World History, Civics, US History). Another responsibility I had was that I provided guidance and mentorship to seniors on their graduation projects. Some of my other duties assigned by the school administration were School Safety Team, Parking Lot & Hall Monitoring, etc. I also had the pleasure of assisting the school band director with establishing a national championship marching band program.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have a passion for children. I have a degree in Child and Adolescent Development, and have spent the past year working with low-income preschoolers. I am also to spend the summer tutoring some of my former students to prepare them more amply for kindergarten and reinforce skills. In addition, I have been tutoring a co-worker in spanish. Because of my degree and experience, I am qualified to tutor algebra, basic biology, psychology, sociology and spanish to the intermediate level.
I am caring, kind, and like to break things down to explain them at the level that people are functioning on. In the time I spent in high school, I tutored several other students in mathematics ranging from Algebra I through Calculus I. I am currently a fourth year undergraduate student at Georgia Institute of Technology. I am studying Aerospace Engineering and in fulfilling the requirements for my major, I have taken many mathematics courses.
