A Little Bit About Me...

I will be honest with you. I have never tutored a child before at a professional standpoint. I will say I have always gotten along with children, and have an ability to help them learn, while making it fun as well. I am 24 years old, an only child, and no children of my own. But through the years all of my close friends were having children at a young age!! When my friends would visit the kids followed along! Simple things like reading a book with them. It is so exciting to know in your heart that your helping a child learn words! And communication and written words are so important in the walk of life!I develop a bond with every child I meet! :) My boyfriend has 4 wonderful children! I've been blessed to have shown them things and have taught them things!

Confidence creates an interest in learning

I have taught students ranging fro pre-school to 12th grade and also tutored at the unversity level. I feel most confident with students ranging from 3rd to 6th grade and at the college level or older. I first look to see what kind of learner the student is, whether he/she is a visual, auditory, kinesthetic, or any combination of these learning styles.
