A Little Bit About Me...

I have been teaching for 13 years. I began teaching Social Studies classes at the high school level and taught every variety of student for 6 years. I then received my Masters in Special Education and began working with special needs students in the high school setting. While teaching Special Education students,I received my Specialists Degree in Special Education. I currently teach Social Studies to learning disabled, emotional behavior students, and Mildly Intellectually disabled students. I am also in charge of the tutoring program for the whole school in Social Studies. I have a lot of patience and am willing to try anything. A Little Bit About Me...

I liken history to a story there are so many interesting things that are either left out or forgotten. I feel that teaching History through passion and understandable connections make it interesting for everyone. So through the use of storytelling and detailed notes and study guides there is never a dull and misunderstood moment of history.
I have been tutoring since in High School when my fellow classmates were not understanding the subject matter.
