From a very early age, I have always wanted to teach. I love the way a student lights up when everything connects and they finally understand the topics. I earned my BA in Secondary English Education and my Student teaching semester was extremely rewarding. My cooperating teacher allowed me to teach half days in January and then full days starting in February. My teaching style with younger children is to have a relaxed setting where no pressure in placed upon the student. I'm always sure to review my material before going into a new lecture. When a student is not understanding the material I try to use many methods for then to gain a better understanding. When I was younger it was easier for me to understand information if I can relate it to my life, so I will apply the same methods with teaching others.
