Within the Bedside Buddies Program, I was able to spend over 200 hours working with physically and mentally challenged children to maintain their grades when they were experiencing long staying in the hospital. With this experience under my belt, I pursued my degree in psychology, achieving a BS rather than a BA to exhibit my proficiency for the mathematics and sciences. As a college student I am still striving for my goal and dream of becoming a veterinarian. I have always been a mentor in my community and willing to help others where they need help. My favorite subjects throughout grade school include math and science, in which I have excelled in both by being placed in honor level classes throughout high school.
