My teaching style is very holistic. I want to empower students to discover and employ their voices. I want to develop critical thinking skills, analysis, synthesis, and retention, basically, I want to help people *THINK* about what they are saying, what they are doing, to interpret the world around them. In the end, it is the student's choice whether or not they modify their papers. I believe in having a one on one discussion. I am resourceful. I don't know all the answers but I have a myriad of ways to find them.
I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. My major was English Literature, with a double minor in French Language and Communications. I am also a certified composition peer tutor, assisting students in Composition I, Composition II, and graduate level papers. I have also written procedural instructions for positions. I have worked in the automotive and mortgage industries.

French is one of my top subjects! Moi, mes reves sont en francais...Me, my dreams are in French! It bothers me that there are no accent marks available here for that first phrase. I have loved all things French since 1962. I am a certified French teacher with 18 years of experience, am fluent, 3 credits shy of my Masters' in French. I love French almost as much as my grandson, (JK!)

I am a certified teacher of French and English; I have taught both subjects at the middle and high school levels for 18 years. I have been tutoring for many years and enjoy the experience. A Little Bit About Me...

While I was going to school I became a student tutor in the areas of calculus, physics and chemistry. Most were just help with the basic calculations and the understanding of simple fundamentals.
My teaching style is very unique because I tend to simplify the understanding process of mathematical analysis. I feel that I can teach anyone from 1st grade up to the college level. But I never do the problems for the student. Instead, I guide them through the problem so the student will learn first hand how to solve calculations step by step.
