A Little Bit About Me...

I have recently graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Elementary Education. I have had many years caring for children and have three years experience tutoring/teaching children. From these experiences I have been able to grow as a teacher and therefore help my students grow and learn more in depth concepts.
I believe all children can learn but they each need to learn in a way that fits them. I feel that I can provide each child with the necessary curriculum knowledge in a fun and engaging way. I believe that through discovery leaning each subject is made unique and interesting and children are more likely to walk away feeling engaged, proud of their work, and excited. As a graduate student at Argosy University in Seattle, I currently hold a 3.55 GPA. My strengths are in grammatical structure, spelling, essay and research writing, and creative writing. My Bachelor's degree is in psychology and I am currently working toward my Master's degree in counseling psychology. Through this work I have become proficient in speech writing, research presentations and public speech and research and essay writing. I have tutored both children and adults in English (spelling, writing, reading comprehension and proficiency) and math.
